Team Izzat was formed in response to the increase in youth violence and crime among South Asian youth. Our focus is to change the negative portrayal and stigma associated with South Asian youth and their connection with crime. Team Izzat works with youth from all backgrounds. Main activities are focussed around Sports and Education. We focus on the average youth who displays leadership in school, in the community or at home. We have partnered with the Media to change negative perceptions associated to certain cutlures.

Team Izzat would like to invite you to participate in the following survey's on Drug-use, Violence and Child Exploitation amongst youth in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. This survey was prepared by High School students from the Lower Mainland participating in a Youth Forum seeking causes and possible solutions to issues affecting youth and the community. In these survey's, people will be asked to hosestly answer 20 questions about violence involving youth. It will take approximately 8-10 minutes to complete each questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions. We are trying to get a picture of what is happening to our local youth.
